Ekatra House
A family home built on the ancestral Bhadarkar property in Malvan.
Designed as a place for togetherness, it draws inspiration from the traditional padvi —the veranda that serves as the heart of the home. The living space imagined as an extension of the verandah blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors. This shared space becomes a natural point of congregation. The bedrooms function as quiet annexes while remaining visually and physically connected to the common space.
Rooted in the spirit of Malvan's vernacular architecture, the home embraces openness and simplicity.
